Boston, Victoria & Vancouver

The week before Thanksgiving (US Thanksgiving that is) I had to go Victoria & Vancouver.  Pete, London & I went to Rhode Island the weekend before and I flew to Victoria from Boston.  It was a quick trip to Rhode Island (for me anyway, Pete & London stayed through Wednesday) but nice to visit for the weekend. IMG_0646_Fotor_Collage2

London had the very best time with Nani, Poppi, Uncle Grant, Auntie Betsy & her new best friend Murphy.  Dad came down on Saturday & we spent the day Christmas shopping.  And had a lovely time.  Sunday we met Michele, Britt, & Allison for lunch.  IMG_0881_Fotor_Collage56

Monday I flew to Victoria.  Beautiful city but we had zero time to do any sight seeing.  Training on Tuesday & Wednesday.
Wednesday night we flew to Vancouver.  Another beautiful city but another two days of training and then back to Toronto.  Thankfully I was able to get on a earlier flight home and made it home at 2:30am instead of 6am.  IMG_0675_Fotor_Collage2

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Big Guy!  IMG_4412_FotorWe love you so much & are so thankful for you everyday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had such a lovely Thanksgiving day & weekend.  It was relaxing & productive.  I’m finally getting around to getting some things done around the house.  London’s room & our room are finally coming together.  It feels good.  I tried to take some pictures to post of London’s room to post but there wasn’t enough light in there this evening to get photos.

The weather was gorgeous all weekend.  Saturday we rode our bikes to swimming, Sunday we rode around town, and today we rode all the way to Davisville for lunch.

We spent lots of time at the playground & playing in the backyard.  London painted pumpkins today…and the house.  Pete smoked a turkey yesterday & we had our “Thanksgiving” dinner last night.

Nick & Jessica’s Wedding

Two weekends ago we went to Washington D.C. to celebrate Nick & Jessica.  We got in late on Friday night.  Saturday morning London went to the zoo with Grandma & Pepere while Pete & I went to the World War II memorial.  My phone completely died before I backed up my pictures so I lost a bunch of photos from the weekend, including the ones of Pete & I wishing the memorial.  I’m excited to bring London back to D.C. when she’s a bit older & can really enjoy the experience.IMG_0108_Fotor_CollageIMG_0108_Fotor_Collage 1The wedding reception was on Saturday evening.  It was quite relaxed & fun.  They had it at Union Square in D.C. & it was outside BBQ, corn hole & just hanging out.  Lots of fun.  London was a party animal but Pete had to bring her home before the party was over – just too late for this little girl. IMG_4546_Fotor_Collage 4The wedding ceremony was on Sunday morning.  It was a very nice, personal ceremony.  Henry, one of Nick’s friends since kindergarten I think, performed the ceremony.  They each are from a family of four kids, so each had their siblings by their side at the wedding instead of bridesmaids & groomsmen.  It was really nice & they were very cute. IMG_4546_Fotor_Collage 2

After the ceremony was a lovely brunch.  We had to cut out a little early to catch our flight home.  It was a busy & fun weekend.  Congrats Nick & Jessica! So happy we could be there to celebrate with you!

Patriots @ Buffalo with Poppi

Pete & Gary went to Buffalo this morning for the Patriots vs. Bills game.  Pete & London had a little pre-game dance off before they left.  Picture quality leaves something to be desired but the look on London’s face is priceless. IMG_4501_Fotor_CollageBye-bye Poppi, thanks so much for visiting! Come back soon! IMG_4514_Fotor

It was a gorgeous day & they had a blast at the game.  Poppi didn’t want to wear to Pats attire in Buffalo but Pete did wear his jersey.  I guess they got heckled a little but not bad.

Bills vs. Pats last year.

Apple Picking with Poppi

Poppi is visiting!  Last night Pete & I went out to dinner to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Today we did exciting things like shop for appliances & floor tiles.  Wee!  This afternoon we went apple picking.  It poured as we left Toronto but cleared up & the rain held off just long enough for us pick 8 lbs of apples.  And get a lot of pictures.
