Last week London & I took an impromptu trip to Maine. Pete was away for work for most of the week so we decided we’d spend the last week of “summer” visiting with family in Maine. Pete flew into Boston on Friday & we spent Labor Day weekend in Rhode Island.
Our flight from Toronto to Pittsburg was kind of a big deal since it was London’s very first flight – kind of hard to believe since she’s almost 6 months old. Of course, our flight was delayed for 3 hours and the whole thing was kind of an ordeal but London was so good & we made it into Portland around 10 on Thursday night. Pepere was there with bells on to greet us at the airport.
Saturday night we went to Ann’s for dinner. Her backyard looks like it should be featured in a Martha Stewart magazine – actually the food too. It was a great meal with great company. London got to meet her Aunt Melissa for the first time! Sunday we spent the day relaxing. Andrew & Fang came over to visit for a bit. London got to experience a walker for the first time…as you can see she was more interested in sucking on the toys than actually using it to walk around. She started to get the hang of it by the end of the week but could still mostly only move backward.
