This is what things looked like at our house this weekend.
From clockwise left to right : you can find the Typhoid vaccines right next to the eggs in the fridge (I’ve also had a Tetanus booster, Hep A vaccine & we’ll both start antimalarials a couple days into the trip; oh ya, we were both prescribed a Z-Pak in case we run into a case of travel’s diarrhea – sounds charming, huh?) | Waterproofing shoes | Bug proofing (well spray for clothes) socks, pants, shirts & hats – gotta admit those crew cut socks are pretty sexy | Since I tossed our pumpkins our little squirrel frienemy has had to find other sources of food – looks like he stole an apple from somewhere | Check out those safari hats! | Packing – bug spray (you’ve probably already picked up on this but the area we’ll visiting is in a “malaria zone” thus the bug proofing & bug spray), sunscreen & ponchos – summer in the jungle! | More packing – stuff for the safari is neatly organized, Cape Town stuff is accumulating in the bottom left corner
