Pete and I spent Saturday at Schobrunn. This is the numero uno place to visit when in Vienna. It was definitely worth the trip! We began the day at the zoo which is supposedly is the oldest (and one of the most modern) zoo in the world. I will say that it ranks #1 in my book of zoos. The zoo was not crowded (unlike the San Diego Zoo) probably due to the chill in the air. Mostly importantly we saw all the animals at very close range. And, even though the baby panda was too young to be exhibited, we did get to see a baby elephant. All I could think about when watching the baby elephant was how much Nevaeh would have LOVED this little guy.
